I had the pleasure of working with Frank for 30 years. We became friends fished had a few tall naturals and spent many hours together . He was a great guy and would do anything he could for his friends.  He really loved his family they were lucky to have him.

Frank was a great person to know.
I worked with Frank at Wilson's Supermarket for over twenty years
Always had a smile on his face. Boy did he love his Tar Heels.
My thoughts and prayers are with y'all during this sad time.

He was my buddy! He was the produce supervisor for Wilson’s. When I worked there, he got me a signed baseball from Catfish Hunter because he knew him! So nice of him to do that for me!! He used to hide in my office at Wilson’s and he would scare me. I would scream and then he would duck because he was so short, so no one could see him. All they could see was me screaming. He was a good man! 

Frank would never go out unless the seas were fairly calm and every once in awhile we would turn around and head back to the marina when NOAA  was mistaken about the weather. He used to say we were dedicated but not desperate. I always thought that was the best description of us.

As a former employee of Frank, he will be missed by all his friends and associates. Frank took me fishing one day many years ago. We left early in the morning and fished until about 111:00am. He turned to me and said," I guess I'd get you back to work!" . and with that contagious laugh of his; we headed back. When we got tied up I asked why we returned so soon, he replied" I'm not getting blamed for you being late!".We both laughed and I headed home to get ready for work. His good nature and great smile will be greatly missed. FISH ON,  FRANK!

My family and I moved in across the street from Frank in 2009. Frank was very welcoming and it was a comfort knowing he was there. When my husband was travelling often for work, Frank would come by and ask if I needed anything. So very thoughtful of him! Additionally, his daughter, Crystal, often brought small gifts by for my grandson for different Holidays. We couldn't have asked for better neighbors. Frank will be missed. 

Frank and I became friends and fishing buddies late in our lives but we hit it off the first time we went fishing on his boat.  He taught me a lot about boating and fishing and a lot about what true friendship means. I cherished our time together and it was my honor to be first mate for Cap’n Frank.

It says a LOT about someone that can maintain a friendship over SEVEN decades…so very thankful I got to see & visit with your Dad via video chat, and then sadly at my Dad’s funeral last month…I am certain they are hanging out together in Heaven & wondering why they lived so long knowing that Eternal Paradise is beyond what we can even imagine.  Until we meet again, Fly High Frank, you are free!  Lori & I will get together regularly and Cheers you & my Dad.  Rest In PEACE ❤️
