Eugene Alton Edens, Jr., 73, passed away at home Friday, March 1, 2013. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy Edens.
Eugene is survived by his daughter Christy Edens Susie and husband Paul; daughter, Tammy Edens; son, Eugene Edens; step-children, Tommy Vereen and Edward Vereen; and grandson, Stephen Butler.
A visitation will be held Monday, March 4, 2013 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC from 11:00am-1:00pm. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1406 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
