Mr. Elery Dean Hinson, 68, of Wilmington, NC died on Friday, December 23, 2016. He was born February 15th, 1948 to Harvey Richard Hinson and Nan Jordan Hinson.
In addition to his is parents, he was predeceased by his sister Mary Ann Hinson.
He is survived by two sons: Toby Dean Hinson and Jordan Tee Hinson; two brothers: Richard Hinson and Thomas Hinson and six grandchildren.
Mr. Hinson loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, collecting old bottles and especially spending time with his family. He also enjoyed the view of the pond in his front yard and watching the birds and squirrels.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday Jan. 7, 2017 at Federal Point Pentecostal Church, 619 Piner Road, Monkey Junction, NC.
Arrangements are being handled by Coble Ward-Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Wilmington, NC.
