Anthony Alan Stanley

Anthony Alan Stanley of Delco, NC left this earthly world to join our Heavenly Father on Monday, July 25, 2011. He was born to the late Mary Grace Martin Stanley and Willie Stanley. He will be greatly missed by family and extended family of Crossnore School, Inc. and a multitude of family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Corrina Grace Stanley of Dacula, GA; sister, Doris (Dot) Malpass and husband, Larry of Delco, NC; brother, Mike Stanley and wife, Marilyn of Vilas, NC.

The family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to his beloved friends, Alberta and Bennie Little of Delco, NC. Thank you for your love and care of our precious brother. He loved you both dearly. To Gina Aranas, mother of his daughter; we would like to thank you for your love and support and your steadfastness in these difficult times. Thanks to Peter Wiegman, MD who worked so diligently to improve our brother’s quality of life. Craig Webb, PAC for his care and friendship; the Cardiac Transplant Team of UNC Chapel Hill, Wellcare Home Health and Lower Cape Fear Hospice.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Coble Ward Smith Funeral Service Wilmington Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
