Alma L. Hewett

Alma was born in Richmond County, NC on March 20, 1931 to the late Joseph Vance Smith and Cora Lee Ward Smith. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Armond H. Caison; brothers: William M. Smith and Joseph K. Smith; sister, Ida L. Navroth and grand daughter, Nancy Ann Carter.

Alma enjoyed gardening, fishing, bingo but she loved God's blessings and always wanted to share them with her family, neighbors and friends. She loved music and Jesus. She loved everyone.

Alma is survived by her daughters, Mary L. Harts, Ruby Rogers, Wanda Thompson, Polly Caison; sons, Willie H. Caison, Shelton A Caison; sister, Rosetta Williamson; brother, James L. Smith; 11 grand children; 28 great grand children; 7 great great grand children and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Alma will be held Monday, August 30, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412.

A Funeral Service will occur Monday, August 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Pastor, Larry Ward officiating, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412. An Interment will occur Monday, August 30, 2021 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412.
