Richard is survived by his mother Marisol H. Fernandez; his brother Ethan Contreras.
Richard was preceded in death by his father Rick Alderete.
Ricky leaves behind four cousins to cherish his memory. He may be gone from our sight but Ricky is never gone from our heart.

A rosary will occur Monday, November 1, 2021, 1640 N. Avalon Blvd, Wilmington, CA 90744. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1011 E. L. Street, Wilmington, CA 90744. A burial will occur Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, 27501 S. Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.
