Jose Jesus Figueroa, age 69, of San Pedro, California passed away on Saturday November 9, 2019. Jesse was born February 20, 1950 in Durango, Durango, Mexico to his parents: Jesus Figueroa & Maria Puentes Figueroa. Jesse graduated from Phineas Banning High School and proudly served in the US Army as a Sergeant for 28 years until his retirement in 2013.
Jesse is survived by his wife, Morena Figueroa; daughter Theresa Figueroa; daughter Coral Cortez (Eddie); son Jesse Figueroa; daughter Martha Bridges; daughter Ruth Segovia; daughter Ana Hernandez; son Raul Benitez; son Francisco Javier Figueroa (Mayra); and son Joseph Figueroa (Jeannette).
Jesse leaves his legacy on this earth through his 20 grandchildren and is also survived by his 7 brothers & sisters.
A visitation for Jesse will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Wilmington, 1640 North Avalon Blvd, Wilmington, CA 90744, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. also at the Mortuary. Funeral Mass / Servicio Funebre is Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 12:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1011 East L Street, Wilmington, CA 90745. Graveside/Interment will be Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11:15 AM Staging Area 2 at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518.
