Thomas Leslie Stramer, born April 1, 1955, beloved son of Eva and Maximilian Stramer, both Holocaust survivors, and brother of Susan Linda Stramer passed away peacefully on June 21, 2023, after a long illness. Tommy is survived by his mother and sister. Tommy was a very gentle and kind individual, and a friend to all he met. He loved teaching and interacting with students. He was very highly educated with degrees from the University of Illinois, Chicago Circle including a Bachelors’ degree with honors in Liberal Arts and Sciences (1977), a Masters’ in Business Administration (1983), a Masters’ of Science in Mathematics (2007), and a Masters’ in Education-Measurement, Evaluation and Statistics Assessment (2016). Tommy loved all professional sports, particularly football and was an avid golfer. Tommy’s long-term companionship and care will be missed deeply and forever.
