Eva B Mayer

Eva B. Mayer (née Schwab), 89, of Evanston, IL, passed away on October 12. She is survived by her beloved children, the late Jeffrey Mayer, Daniel (Myn) Mayer, and Stephanie Mayer; cherished grandchildren Zachary (Maima) and Naomi; treasured great-grandchildren Zoe and Zachary Jr; caring former husband Larry (Donna) Mayer. She is preceded in death by her loving parents Julius and Meta Schwab, and her loving Aunt Beate. She will be missed by many cousins, relatives, and friends.

Eva loved her family, and was a wonderful Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. After raising her family, Eva went back to school to obtain her Masters in Social Work. She worked with the Japanese-American community. She was a very warm, caring volunteer for the The Cradle agency. She loved volunteering and enjoyed playing bridge.

Memorial service Wednesday, October 16, 2PM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette, IL 60091. Service will be livestreamed. Shiva to follow at The Mather, 425 Davis St, Evanston, IL 60201.
