Claire was a most kind and generous person. A great neighbor to have.   She was my neighbor at  9242 GPT for all the years I have been living there.  She volunteered in passing out minutes of the Board meetings and attended most  Board meetings.   She will be missed in the building.

As you surely know, Claire was such a brilliant and fabulous person with a heart so full of loving-kindness for the world around her. 

She made an enormous impact on my life and my attitude toward illness and really, all of life. And her sense of humor and intellect is unmatched. She will live on forever in my heart. 

I can safely say we nearly never had a conversation when she wasn’t lauding either of you, her son-in-law nor her lovely granddaughter, whom she absolutely cherished. 

How enriched I am, simply by knowing her. Sending you all healing love and light.

Clara was my favorite cousin. She was caring, witty, and creative.
We enjoyed many wonderful phone conversations and lunches together.  I will miss not hearing from her but she will remain in my heart. The fond memories I have will ease my sadness.

Claire, Renee, Mary and I were together on so many occasions. Slowly times changed. Claire lost one of her closest friends, Renee F. , Mary N. moved, until Claire and I would talk about all we would finally do after Covid.  November 2015

Claire will be dearly missed. 

My adopted mother. Claire was always encouraging me to follow my love of illustration and painting. We even exchanged paintings to keep us both busy while recovering.

We enjoyed philosophical discussions very often and had many outings. We enjoyed the idea of good conversation and we were never at a loss for words at Claire’s or The Botanic Gardens, Tea, Deli, Watching music with Renee or at Mary’s Book Club. And when we weren’t enjoying the “present,” Claire wouldn’t miss an opportunity to dote on her lovely granddaughter or her daughters and her son-in-law and share loving stories of her family. 

Claire was lovely, kind, and caring. I knew her through my sister, and saw her occasionally at the art studio or in check out lines while shopping. No matter what her physical ailments and struggles, she always warmly asked  after my family and me. May her memory be for a blessing.
