Dr. Alan B. Klein

Dr. Alan B. Klein, 92, was married 67 years to the love of his life and best friend Dee Dee Klein. He was a loving father, mentor and role model to his three sons Dr. Gary T. Klein (Dr. Nancy Klein), Dr. Kenneth L. Klein (Jeanne Klein) and Steven H. Klein (Amy Klein). He was very proud of his five grandchildren, Julie Schneider (Dr. Spencer Schneider), Dr. Jamie Bar-Ness (Omer Bar-Ness), Gregory Klein (fiancé Lori Resnik), Lauren Klein, and Alexander Klein. He cherished his great-grandchildren, Adeline Schneider, Leona Schneider and Ziv Bar-Ness. He graduated Loyola Dental in 1955, practiced dentistry for forty-seven years, and his patients were like family. Alan and Dee Dee traveled the world together. However, his treasured times were house projects out of his garage, family walks on the beaches of Michiana and cruising the coastline with his first mate (or perhaps captain) Dee Dee. He lived a life to be celebrated, and his memory is a blessing to those who knew and loved him. Funeral services are private.
