Rest in Peace, my friend.  I will never forget your infectious and playful laugh, your witty sense of humor and your playful, spontaneous acapella solo performances of Broadway show tunes.  We were in our mid-twenties and early 30's back in the 80's, and we all leaned on each other as we moved from relationship to relationship searching for our soul mates and no matter what happened, we danced and danced.   I am so grateful that we had become friends and will always cherish those memories.  I'm sure you are now free from this life's pain and struggles and have no doubt your spirit survives... somewhere high above us all is a twinkling, dancing light.

I only just found out when I sent a birthday greeting through Facebook. So sorry to have never gotten down to visit him in Florida, but I'll always remember the great times we had in Choir at Williamsville South High School.

I'm shocked to just hear about this.  I knew Frank when we worked together at Sears in Buffalo.  Both of us were going to college and we became pretty good friends.  We did an overnight trip to Toronto to visit the Ontario Expo in the summer of 1984, and shortly thereafter he came out to me.  I went to law school and that was the last I ever saw of him, and I have regretted that I didn't keep up the friendship.  Later, I found him on Facebook.  
Everyone loved him at Sears and he had so many friends -- we were all like a family, and we all knew each other families and went to everyone's weddings.  
I'm very glad to see that Frank really made the most of his life, and lived it on his own terms, but I am heartbroken he left way too soon. 

So sorry to learn about Frank’s passing.  We were friends in Williamsville South High School and shared many great memories!  My sincere condolences.  He will be greatly missed!

Frankie! My heart is broken and I never had the chance to visit your Frankie-baby Salon.

Like Frankie, I am a daughter of the Westside Girls who are displayed at his shop in their Delaware Casino photos.  He now joins his mother, Yvonne, and her gals Rachelle, Pat, and my mom Ida.  They all  loved dancing, singing, and soaking up the sun at Point Breeze Beach.

The last time I saw Frank was at the salon in Miami Shores. I stopped by just to say hello. We chit chatted. He had a piano in the salon. He started playing and belting out showtimes.  He was fabulous, and he made me feel fabulous too. That's the thing about Frankie. He's a gem, a real doll. Irreplaceable! I am blessed to have known him. May he rest in love. My deepest condolences to Michael, Chuck, Heidi, Maria, Camille, and Mark.

I remember Frank as a handsome, gentle man who treated others kindly and always had a warm smile.

We were in the process of selling our home in Miami Shores and moving to St Augustine when I met Frankie over the phone. My daughter had been to his salon and knew he played the piano and that he was in the market for a baby grand. I had one. He called and asked me what I wanted for it. He played me a fabulous tune over the phone! I told him I would love for him to have it and If he could get someone to move it, it was his. I felt so happy knowing it would get a good home with someone who appreciated it! He sent a team of wonderful piano movers to get it. They were so nice and did a great job taking it apart, wrapping it and getting it to the salon on Biscayne Boulevard. He gave me another brief concert when it arrived  and invited me to the Salon’s grand opening. Unfortunately my good friend was having her 60th birthday party the same evening. I regret that I did not get to meet him in person. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He was a beautiful soul.❤️

t was shocking to read  this article today about Frank’s passing. I was one of his happy and satisfied clients when he had his Frankie Baby beauty salon on 79th Street next to MiMo gallery in Miami. Even though  it has been over 7 years since I saw him last I’ve never forgotten his great energy, beautiful smile, lovely compliments and how nice he made me feel. My condolences to his partner, his family and all the people who loved him. May he Rest In Peace and may all of us continue to feel his loving and uplifting energy in our lives.

Chuck, Michael, Maria and all of Frank's family and friends you have my deepest sympathy at this time of incredible loss. Frank was larger than life, a shining star gone way too soon. He was a light that came into my life when I was in a very dark place. He lifted me up and held my hand for the last 19 years. Frank was a true friend I could always count on. We shared thousands of meetings and dinners and phone calls and Frank could always make me laugh and could make anything better with his smile and a song at the piano.  I'll miss you Frankie Baby!

First met Franky when he moved in to the house next door to my 3078 Alton road home on Miami Beach. I loved listening to him playing the piano. We often had friends over for dinner parties which Franky would often attend bearing gifts of flowers or some fabulous desert. He even brought over an entire turkey once for Thanksgiving which many of our friends shared as they stopped by throughout the day to help us celebrate.  Those were some of my fondest memories of Miami Beach. I will miss him.

To Frank's family & friends:

A light has gone out far too soon. Frank was an amazing human to be around. Kind, warm, generous and creative and oh so funny!  Loved him like a brother and miss him so much. I will keep the memories close and never forget his uplifting spirit and joie de vivre.

Dearest Maria and all of Frank's cousins, extended family & friends, It's too overwhelming to try to understand that Frankie is no longer with us. It's just too surreal to process at this moment and the news and situation are just too fresh to react to,  when the feeling is numbness. FRANK RICIGLIANO was "magical." Yes, it's the perfect word and people were drawn to him like children to The Pied Piper. It's a gift and he shared his love, humor, generosity and talents with so many people, that there is no way to truly comprehend just how far reaching that magic was and how many people he touched and shared that love with and made smile. It's  a loss. A HUGE LOSS. And for me,  not a day will go by without thinking of him in some way. Maria, Chuck and Michael ... I am sending you all my love and wishing you strength to get through this most difficult time. The world is a darker place without Frank in it. He lit up every room he entered with his infectious smile and his random show tunes that he would sing. Frank had the best stories. One of my favorites is when he was a kid, he went to a Liberace concert in Buffalo. After the concert, Frank walked up and down the aisles to collect the beads and sequins that fell from Liberace’s costume so that he could sew them onto a cape that he made for his pet hamster. He was the best and we will miss him dearly! I do know that every July 4th that comes around, when we mourn/celebrate Frank’s life, he will be smiling down on us knowing he went out with a parade and fireworks lighting up the sky!

Frank was truly like no other! He was loved by everyone, people and animals alike. He was a beautiful soul that suffered a lot but never complained and was always more concerned about how everyone else around him was doing. We are all better people for knowing him. He will be missed greatly but deserves to be eternally peaceful now.

You were an inspiration to those of us around you, a breath of fresh air when we needed it the most, a laugh that would fill a void in any room, an immense passion for life, an infectious smile, and a mischievously, playful personality that attracted adoration and love from all of us around you.

The world is now less joyful, and we all have a void in our hearts and in our lives. To say that you will be missed is a vast understatement of biblical proportions. 

If we all listen closely, there is music coming from heaven as the party is just getting started, and of course, Frankie Baby is the star of the show. You will now be able to comfort, console, entertain and enrich those that have passed before you.

Enjoy your peace, say hello to the family, and embrace the next phase of life as robustly and with as much passion and love as you did here on earth. 

Until we meet up again, you marvelous bastard, keep the party going! I will miss you dearly.

Frank was my best friend. His energy was something that ill always look up to and always remember. Frank taught me everything. How to clean my room, how vegetables helped with muscle growth, how important it is to love and accept everyone no matter what they believe, and most importantly how to love myself. Frank, was my best friend. I will always love him and miss him until we meet again. I want everyone to understand that i am here, to talk, to laugh, to cry. Frank taught me the importance of loving and accepting everyone and i will carry on his message until the end. 

So very heartbroken for the loss of such a wonderful soul. Frank was like no other: exuberant, clever, talented and a great hugger. My condolences to his family and my dear friend Chuck who will take with him incredible memories of a fruitful life.

One of my last few  trips to Miami Beach when I just went to the salon and watched Frankie work while chatting it up. 

There will never, ever be another person in my life that has the Light Frankie has. His willingness to laugh, celebrate anything, seek the good, and curl up and cry with me on those few precious occasions when we both just wanted to sob. I'm so happy for you, Frankie. Thatcyour out there flying with the angels, but the world will never be the same for us here on Earth. I'll think of a funny story soon. Cause there are plenty. 

My first memory of Frankie .. Was when I was in  middle school and he was my smoking hot next door neighbor... I used to go over and borrow eggs butter and sugar just to watch him walk to the kitchen and back!! Fast forward into the 90s, and he is friends with my mom and part of our Alton Road sober family of choice... Good times and so much love whenever I had the privilege of being around the sunshine of his smile and kindness. Rest in peace, beautiful human. A fave photo of Frankie and my mama, Jill.

I only met and spent a few days with him 2 years ago, but he left an impression on my heart!  One of the nicest men I have ever met!  Fly with the angels Frank!! 💔

I met Frankie Baby when he burst into my former job with his beloved Peanut. Frankie instantly disliked me when I snatched his unresponsive dog into treatment area barely addressing him. He even complained to my superiors. Frankie spent hrs there that night, and even sung happy bday to a coworker and enjoyed some cake. He apologized as he left, he understood that I did my job.  He also booked my first hair appt. I was going through a divorce at the time. Frankie took sooo many pictures and videos of me that day as he gave me advice telling me his own experiences. I was in such a dark place, I can’t put into words the impression and impact he made on me. I think it’s important to recognize that he made everyone and anyone feel like 100 bucks, nothing to do with the hair. I always laughed at the salon, especially when he rescued and raved about his bird. He is at peace and reunited with Peanut, but the world will miss him for sure

To the family of Frank my deepest sympathy for your loss and sorrow .. Frank was one of a kind thoughtful ,caring , giving  person he will truly be missed . Heaven just received  an amazing new angel 😇 

What a huge loss! Frank was so funny and creative and always had a smile on his face. You couldn’t help but be in a good mood when he was around. I can’t imagine this world without him. I will always remember Frankie as a lover of people. He always wanted to get to know a person on a more deeper level. Frankie understood that the one of the most important things in life were personal relationships. When I was around him, I could feel a genuine to desire to know me on something more than the surface. Rest In Peace Frankie. Your legacy here will be the feeling of importance of every individual that was blessed to cross your path. You were a blessing to the world and anyone who crossed paths with you.
