Bob and Nancy,

I have been praying for you both. 

I have such great memories of Chris.  Her bright spirit always shined so bright and she was so easy to talk to.  When I would return to Kenmore for a visit, and if I happened across Chris, she would always show genuine interest in me and how my life was progressing.  Your daughter was so authentic.  I loved her very much.

May your belief in God's plan give you some level of comfort during this time of extreme sorrow.

I will continue to pray for you.

Mr. And Mrs. Battaglia, I am so sorry to hear about Chris.  Both Chris and Cheryl hold a special place in my heart and always have.  The world lost 2 angels.  Chris and Cheryl always had a special sister bond and I am sure it continues today in heaven.

Dear Nancy, Bob & family.  Chris was such a wonderful person- caring, selfless, and had the best sense of humor.She could make you laugh with just a funny face.  I have so many memories of her when she visited Syracuse on her extended stays with us.  She knew my family and they all loved her and were praying for her.  My sister placed her name on her church's prayer list this past year.  I only wish I could have visited her one more time.  I thought I had time...
I already miss her and I can't imagine your grief losing two wonderful daughters with a year's time. She will always have a place in my heart. I only wish God had other plans for her- I will look in the heavens tonight and pray that she hears me - that she knows how much we all loved her. I am so sad having to write this to you.  Please accept my condolences, but please be comforted in the fact she touched so many lives in such a profound way -- the person she was...is a testament to having been raised by such loving parents. Brian and I apologize for not being able to come to Buffalo, I didn't find out in time, and it was too late by then to make the trip.But we had our own memorial service last night by playing videos of her...my son Michael loved her and took all these videos., the last being when they brought their daughter Ava up to meet her...we laughed and we cried.  
Nothing can be said to really comfort you, I know that.  I saw that when my parents lost their son.  
Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers and will be for a long time.
