July 22, 2021, in Williamsville, NY. Born in Cleveland, OH, on February 26, 1937, Charles attended St.
Edwards High School, Lakewood, OH, and was a graduate of John Carroll University. He served in the Army at Redstone Missile Arsenal in Alabama; and, when released from military service, entered the apprenticeship program at NASA, Lewis Space Center, Cleveland, Ohio. Charles spent most of his working career at the General Motors Chevrolet plant, Brookpark, OH, where he worked as a Machine Repairman until retirement. Charles was an avid tinkerer, with a love of old motorcycles, handmade wood boats and all things mechanical. He completed numerous Cleveland marathons and was a frequent participant in shorter races, including many Buffalo Turkey Trots, which he ran well into his 70’s. Charles was predeceased by his mother, Mary Vanco Fronzek of Cleveland, OH. He is survived by his sister, Janet F. Howard (John), and his niece, Gwen Howard- Mann (Patrick) and his beloved nephews, Robert and Sean Mann, all of
Buffalo, NY. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark, OH.
