My heart breaks for Beth and her family. I was friends with Beth at Smallwood. My family moved before 6th grade so I didn’t see her after that. Beth and I were in a play together in 2nd grade. She had a beautiful singing voice and I wished I could sing as well. We once had her parents call the police because someone in a black van asked us if we wanted candy. I had fun swimming in the pool on Ridgewood and loved when she got a kitten. We would sneak in Aimee’s room to see what was up with older girls and we had so much fun playing together. We met on the bus because Beth had a cast and I wanted a cast so badly! When I remember Smallwood, I think of her always. I’m so sorry to learn that she is no longer smiling her bright smile, as I remember it. I hope you find comfort in your memories and that her son finds comfort in knowing his mom was such a sweet soul. I’m thankful for my childhood memories playing outside and enjoying school with Beth. 

I’am so sorry for your loss.  My heart, my love and my care goes out to the family members during this difficult time.  I remember Beth in English class with Stephanie Bafino.  Beth gave me encouragement to grow and be able to understand words better.  Being deaf this helped me in so many ways.  I remember all those fun times together at Amherst Tiger Football games.  I miss you so much. You are a beautiful person, thank you for touching my heart in special way.  

Josie, i am so saddened by your daughters passing. Please know you and your family are in my prayers. Its been many years since we worked together at Heathwood but we shared raising kids going to @ AHS.  May your many memories of those days comfort you.

As friends of the family for many years, we remember Beth as fun loving, carefree & always happy.  Watching her grow up, we have memories of her that always made us smile / laugh.
