Russ was born to Gerald and Marguerite (Saunders) Hubble.
He was employed as a lineman for the city of Detroit and was a World War II veteran. After retiring, he enjoyed farming on “Hub’s Acre.” He was passionate about Detroit sports and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was very active in the Webberville Lions Club, Masonic Lodge and VFW for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Comeal Auvergene Hubble, and his granddaughter, Jennifer Lynne Meyers. He is survived by his children, Jerry (Bruce) Jones, Russell (Diane) Hubble, Raynie (David) Bohlman, and Richard (Carol) Hubble; grandchildren Raymond, Christine, Becky (Jon), Rachel, Janis, Marguerite (Darryl), Bruce, Samantha (Lukas), Stephany, and Jennifer (Ryan); great-grandchildren Maggie, Lily, Christopher, Taylor, Hayley, Sadie, Jonathan, Vanessa, Olivia, Damien, Jacoby, Peyton, Dayton, Garlin, Henry, Josephine, and Benjamin; great-great-granddaughter Rowen; and many cherished friends including Elsie Smith, George Tiedgen, and Michael Monroe, and his cat, Joon.
A special thank you is extended to all who provided kindness, love, and support to Russell and his family.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 25 at 3 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Middle St., Williamston, MI. The family will receive friends at 12 noon prior to the service.
