Cody Mikeal Carlson

Cody was a dedicated father to his two children who were the most important thing in his world. Cody was also a very avid sports fan, always believing in his team even when others did not. You could count on Cody watching the Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Lions, Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Pistons. He would also cheer on Michigan State, but only when they were playing Ohio State. Cody was proud of his new business venture with his cousin Zach Wickizer. Cody was a 2004 Farmington Hills Harrison High School graduate in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Cody also attended elementary and middle school in Williamston, Michigan.

Cody is survived by his two beautiful children Tristan and McKenna, his mother Heather (Joe) Harrison, his father Fritz (Jody) Carlson, his brother Kevin (Amanda) Carlson, his niece Alexandria and two nephews Syrus and Darrian Carlson, his sister Alexandria Harrison, his brother Kilian Harrison, his brother Joshua Wilson, his sister Nina Carlson, his sister Madison Carlson, his step-sister Lacey (Chris) Welsh.

A memorial gathering will be hosted by Cody's family to honor and celebrate his life on Saturday, November 5. 2022. The memorial will be only how Cody would want us to gather. Good friends and loving family enjoying memories, talking sports in a casual setting. His family is asking for you to wear your favorite sports team to show your support. The location for the gathering is the American Legion Devereaux Post 141, 3265 W Grand River Rd, Howell, Michigan from 1:00PM - 5:00PM.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to assist with funeral costs and a fund for Cody's children. A GoFundMe has been set up in his name at https://gofund.me/062615c4 .
