Cheryl Rae Hall (Alburtus), age 74. Born January 24, 1947 passed away on December 15, 2021 with her husband of 31 years, Kent Hall holding her hand as she breathed her last breath and her 2 sons, Patrick Stiff and Gregory Stiff were at her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Alburtus and Beatrice Alburtus. Son, Gregory Stiff gave his Mom 3 granddaughters, Olivia, Brittany, and Megan.
She also left 2 step sons, Steve Hall and wife, Melanie with 3 granddaughters, Madaline, Emma, and Evelyn, also Kris Hall with grandson, Hudson, 1 step daughter, Lanie Brown Hall, husband, Shawn Brown with grandson, Colin. Cheryl was an avid lover of Flowers, Animals, and Nature. She loved to "Dig in the dirt". She took care of the flowers at Williamston Veterans Wall of Honor and at the entrance to the Red Cedar Condos. When she moved a flower that was struggling and it did better in the new spot she would say it is "Happier there." Two of her happiest experiences was swimming with the Dolphins and a surprise hot air balloon ride on her wedding anniversary. She retired from Hurley Medical Center in Flint with 40 years of service, 20 years Labor and Delivery followed by 20 years in NICU with the preemies. No funeral services will be held per her request but a celebration of life will be announced later. Cremation has taken place. Donations can be made in her honor to Honor for ALL PO Box 125 Williamston MI 48895 to be used for a tribute to Cheryl in Memorial Park along the Honor for ALL River Walk next to the Red Cedar River in Williamston.
