Ronda Brummett McDonald

Ronda Brummett McDonald, age 81, of Williamsburg, Virginia passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024. She was born June 20, 1943 in Poteau, Oklahoma. Ronda is preceded in death by her parents, Earl A. Smoot Jr and Maxine Smoot; brothers, E.A. Smoot III and Barry W. Smoot; her first spouse of 43 years, Samuel E. Brummett; and her second spouse, Harry L. McDonald. She graduated from York High School in 1961, and then worked for Walls Alive, Williamsburg Printing Press, and as a secretary for the Williamsburg Assembly of God Church. This was her jubilee year, celebrating being a Christian for 50 years. She was an active member and leader in Aglow International. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and interior decorating. Flowers, singing, and spending time with family and friends brought her great joy. Ronda is survived by her son, Paul E. Brummett; daughter, Krista Barley (David); grandchildren, Erin Brummett, Ben Brummett, Katelyn Reiner, Kelley Barley, Hunter Brummett, Luke Barley, and Samantha Brummett; great-grandchildren, Caroline Brummett, Ava Gomez, Colt Brummett, Lila Brummett, Walker Brummett, and Jack Reiner; and siblings, Les A. Smoot and R. Dale Smoot. A service for Ronda will be held Monday, November 18, 2024 at 3:30 PM at Williamsburg Assembly of God, 5232 Longhill Rd, Williamsburg, VA.
