Robert Wayne Moss

Robert Wayne Moss, 70, of Williamsburg, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Lena Forehand Moss. Wayne was a talented classical musician and a former employee of Colonial Williamsburg. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts for 17th and 18th Century Performance Practices from Oberlin Conservatory, Oberlin, Ohio. In his spare time, he loved to salt water fish and watch the nature around him. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Ingemarie; his son, Michael Kristopher Moss (Faith); grandchild, Samuel; step-son, William R. Rowe, III; stepdaughter, Cynthia Lynn Rowe; and father, Robert William Moss, age 93; brothers, David (Peggy), John (Hope), Mickey (Susan) and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, where a service will be held at noon on Friday, November 3, 2017. Interment will follow at Williamsburg Memorial Park, 130 King William Drive, Williamsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be addressed to Heritage Humane Society, 430 Waller Mill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
