Born and raised in Canada prior to moving to Virginia with her family, Melissa met her husband Rob at Busch Gardens. She worked as a web developer and enjoyed cooking – Melissa was a master at baking cheesecakes, and made a mean pasta. She was avid in the gym and loved travel, especially cruises. She was also a trivia nut and fan of science fiction, especially Dr. Who.
Above all else, she loved her family and children. She was extremely patient, and always put the happiness of others above her own. She made sure she never forgot a birthday.
She will be missed by her husband, Rob Delano; children, Zoe Delano, Liam Delano, and Hannah Delano; her father, Alan Manns; her siblings, David Manns (Margaret) and Christopher Manns (Melanie); as well as her nieces, nephews, and extended family. Her mother, Maureen Manns, preceded her in death.
