Lisa Susan Perez

Lisa Susan Perez, 61, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 in Williamsburg, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Rogers and parents, Robert and Susan Greenwalt. She grew up in Bunker Hill, West Virginia and then joined the Air Force where she met her loving husband, Robert. Lisa enjoyed singing, karaoke, dancing, laughing and playing Texas Hold'em at the Williamsburg Moose Lodge and the Eagles Aerie. Lisa also loved playing Blackjack and Dominoes. Lisa loved going to the movies, concerts, and her favorite tacos and cheesecake from La Terraza Mexican Grill on Richmond Road, as well as spending time with her beloved family. She loved crocheting and passed that love to her daughter, Alayna. Lisa’s faith was important to her and she was a member of the Williamsburg Community Chapel. Her occupations ranged from Sales, Human Resources and as a Personnel Specialist. She was a die-hard Cowboys fan and loved rooting for them at every game. Lisa loved carrying on her family traditions, especially during Christmas, her favorite holiday. During the Christmas holidays, she loved playing the family card game, “PIG” where the end game was not to become a “HOG”. She always made every effort to not become a “HOG” at every game. We all enjoyed listening to her laugh so hard while playing “PIG”. Her family is looking forward to keeping her family traditions alive in her honor. Lisa was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She adored her husband Robert and her children, Amanda, Matthew and Alayna. She was overjoyed when she became a “Nana” to her precious grandson, Jonathan. Lisa loved life and had the most infectious laugh. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert; son, Matthew Perez and wife Michelle; daughter, Alayna Perez; and grandson, Jonathan Walter. A visitation will be held at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 10:00am with the service to begin at 11:00am.
