Larmar Thomas Burrows was born on July 1. 1977, in Mount Vernon, New York. He was raised in New Jersey by his parents, Anthony and Sandra Burrows. His parents raised him in the ways of the Lord and although they are deeply saddened by his passing, they know he is now with his Heavenly Father. In 2002, Larmar met the love of his life, Tarsha Wright-Burrows and her daughter Desiree Wright, whom he raised as his own. Larmar and Tarsha married on October 1, 2005, and God blessed their union with a daughter, Ariel Burrows. Larmar later moved his family to Williamsburg, VA in 2021.
Through Larmar’s love for the Lord, he developed a passion for the youth, and he became active in the youth ministry. Larmar’s love for the Lord was unwavering and steadfast. He stayed true to God’s word, and he was not ashamed to let others know where he stood. His love for music and his entrepreneurial spirit led him to becoming a DJ and starting an entertainment business called “Off the Cross, LLC. Through Off the Cross LLC, the Glow Room was created, which allowed Christian artists to showcase their talents. He was also an owner operator for United Road Trucking Company. He enjoyed driving and was a very diligent worker. He loved being able to provide for his family. Larmar loved basketball, investing, and attending family gatherings. He was always entertaining others through music or cracking jokes to make everyone laugh. He was definitely the jokester of the family. He always showed love and compassion to all those he encountered.
Our family is deeply saddened by the passing of Larmar, who leaves to cherish his memory, Tarsha Wright-Burrows (wife) Williamsburg, VA, who he deeply loved, Desiree Wright (daughter), Ariel Burrows (daughter), Seraphina Santafiore (granddaughter), Anthony Burrows (father), Sandra Burrows (mother), Charlotte, NC, LaToya Burrows (sister), Columbia, MD, Cassandra Burrows (sister), Charlotte, NC, Isaiah Burrows (nephew), Philadelphia, PA, Amiyah Alamry (niece), Columbia, MD, Clifton Smaw (grandfather), Arethea Smaw (grandmother), Hampton, VA, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A visitation for Larmar will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, Virginia 23188. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home.
