Jeffery Eugene Shaw

Jeffery Eugene Shaw, 54, of Williamsburg, Virginia and formerly of Baltic, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 at his home following a brief illness. He was born in Coshocton on November 19, 1968 to the late Samuel James and Mary (Moffitt) Shaw and married Beverly Volz on August 2, 1997. She survives. Jeff graduated from Garaway High School in 1987 and received his Bachelor's Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida. He served in the Navy for 20 years in Aviation Ordinance as a Chief Petty Officer. Following his retirement, he worked at Yorktown Naval Weapon Station and most recently with the Defense Logistics Agency. He was a member of the Coshocton American Legion and Coshocton VFW. In addition to his wife, Beverly; twin sons, Andrew and Jack; his step-mother Charlene Shaw of S. Carolina; 4 step-sisters and a step-brother. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Randy Shaw, a step-sister and a step-brother. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 12:00 PM (Noon) at West Lawn Cemetery in Baltic with Pastor Larry Kaufman officiating. Friends may call at Smith-Varns Funeral Home on Saturday from 10-11:30 AM prior to the graveside service. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion.
