David Roger Dinterman

David Roger Dinterman, age 78, of Williamsburg, Virginia passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024. He is preceded in death by his father, Roger A. Dinterman and stepmother, Elizabeth Dinterman.
He graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1967 with a degree in biology. He was a volunteer with Williamsburg Fire Department for 20 years, serving as a firefighter, rescue squad member, and earned a certification as a cardiac tech. He enjoyed making scale models of military aircraft and going to Denbigh Hobby Store. He loved all animals, especially dogs and cats.
David worked for 17 years at BASF Corporation and Anheuser Busch for 20 years, and finally the American Red Cross for 5 years. He was also a part of the Army Reserve.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Edson Dinterman, VA; daughters, Kelly Anne Dinterman of Williamsburg, VA; and Hank Starkweather and Roger Starkweather.
A graveside service for David will be held Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Williamsburg Memorial Park, 130 King William Drive, Williamsburg, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory can be made to the Heritage Humane Society, 430 Walker Mill Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
