Christina Baker Julie of Williamsburg, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the age of 75. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Edward Baker and Edna Loomis Baker, and her husband, Henri Albert Julie.
She was employed in banking and retired from a European American Bank for which she worked for 35 years. She was also an avid member of New Town United Methodist church. She volunteered and worked for Colonial Williamsburg for 2 years, was a member of the Women’s Club of Toano and Red Hat Society, worked for President’s Park in Williamsburg, was a founding member of James City Lions Club, was also a member of Eastern Star for 12 years in Sayville, New York, volunteered and worked at New Town United Methodist church, attended James City Citizens Academy for Fire and Police Departments, volunteered at Ferguson Center, Newport News, VA, loved to travel, was a history buff and enjoyed scrap booking and stamping.
Survivors include her aunt, Judy Baker; her cousin, Gail Carr; nine godchildren and sister-in-law, Lucille Julie.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017, beginning at 6:00 PM, followed by a service at 7:00pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, VA.
