Arlene Ahern Fitzgerald

Mrs. Fitzgerald was predeceased by her husband John J. Fitzgerald of Milford, CT; parents Francis M. and Elizabeth W. Ahern of Orange, CT; and brother, William F. Ahern of Shelton, CT.

She leaves behind a loving family which includes her daughters, Kerry F. Holmberg (husband, Robert) of Williamsburg, VA, Shayne F. Escher of Winnabow, NC, Deborah A. Fitzgerald of Williamsburg, VA; son, Patrick J. Fitzgerald (wife, Monica) of Essex, CT; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.

A requiem mass and burial will take place at a later date in Connecticut. The family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 (www.heart.org).
