“Bonnie” as she was also known, graduated from St. Vincent Ferrer High School in 1966 and Hunter College in 1970 in New York City. She also graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with a degree in Respiratory Therapy. After a career as a Social Security Disability Examiner in both New York and Virginia, Bonnie and her husband, Stephen, retired to Ford’s Colony in Williamsburg.
A member of St. Bede’s Roman Catholic Church, she was very active in Ford’s Colony clubs including Bridge, Mexican Train Dominos, Book Clubs, a Luncheon Group, Garden Clubs, St. Bede’s Circle of Faith, several Wine and Dine Groups, and also enjoyed playing golf.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Stephen W. Jennings; sons, Michael Jennings (Hilarie) and Matthew Jennings (Kathleen); and grandchildren, Collin, Olivia, Mila and Madeline.
Mass will be Saturday, October 29, 2022 beginning at 11:00AM at St. Bede Roman Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Rd, Williamsburg with inurnment to follow in the St. Bede Columbarium.
