Adeline “Ling” Ngo passed away peacefully on May 29, 2022 at home, surrounded by family. She is survived by her spouse of 64 years, Reggie; her children, Andrew Ngo (Kathy) of Orlando, Agnes Catherine Ngo (Bob) of Honolulu, and Bernie Ngo (Tammy) of Williamsburg; and her grandchildren, Megan Tran (Alex), Christine Nay (John), Theresa Kline (Andy), Alexander Ngo (Ali Sue), Meredith Ngo, and Rebecca Ngo. She also has three great-grandchildren, Emmaline, Hailey, and David (along with a 4th great-grandson due in July, around what would have been her 90th birthday). She also is survived by her siblings, Alex and Lisa; and numerous nieces and nephews, grand- and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Ling was preceded in death by her sisters, Judith, Esther, and Mary.
Ling will be remembered for her love of family, friends, and community, along with her faith and zest for life.
In the 1960’s, she brought to Virginia, the non-profit FISH organization, which provides food, clothing, and transportation to persons in need. Her work with the FISH organization is representative of the big heart she always had for people.
Ling loved to travel, especially to China, and on cruises with Reggie and the rest of her family and friends.
A funeral mass will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 6th, with inurnment at the columbarium and reception to follow, at Saint Bede Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Road.
