Evelyn M. Stockmaster (91) of Havana, Oh passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at her home. She was born April 16, 1928 in Mansfield to the late Carl and Emma (Myers) Smith. She was retired from the Pioneer Balloon Factory in Willard and was a former member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and a current member of St. Gaspar del Bufalo Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Evelyn was also a member of the Monroeville Golden Eagles, Norwalk Senior Center and charter member of the #1779 WOTM of Willard Moose. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family.
Evelyn enjoyed flowers, birds, family get togethers, playing cards and babysitting her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by 3 children: Richard (Betty) Stockmaster, Diane (Robert) Bivens and Debra (Jim) Quiggle, all of Willard, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 brothers: Kenneth Smith of Willard, Donald (Pat) Smith of New Haven and Raymond (Tish) Smith of Sandusky, 3 sisters: Rosemary Grine of Norwalk, Dorothy Pifher of Cincinnati and Irene (Dale) Braden of Norwalk. Sister-in-law: Joanne Smith of Peru, as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Donald R. Stockmaster, 5 brothers: Charles, Robert, Adelbert, Eldon and James Smith, 2 sisters: Eleanor Braden and Ruth Myntti, 4 brother in laws: Charles Grine, William Pifher, Dan Myntti, and Roy Braden and 3 sister-in-laws: Margaret Smith, Billie Smith and Nancy McGue, 3 nephews: Matthew, Darren and Larry Smith and 2 nieces: Brenda Sue Braden and Denise Grine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:30AM, May 7, 2019 at St. Gaspar del Bufalo Catholic Church, Bellevue with Fr. Nathan Bockrath officiating. Burial will follow at St. Sebastians Catholic Cemetery, Bismark. Family will receive friends Monday May 6 from 5-8 PM with a Rosary Service being held at 4:15 P.M. at Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave, Willard, Ohio 44890.
