Dear Mary Jane and family. 
I’m full of memories  regarding George. One special one is how thoughtful he could be. One example is how I mentioned certain music I liked and he gave me a cd booklet of some of those artists. Another is several AA bookmarks and yet another one is his making up words to songs and including them while playing his guitar. He was a very special man who I will deeply miss. My condolences, thoughts and prayers.

My husband Dave and George have been friends  for over 50 years , having been on the USS Odax together , golfing friends  , and just  good friends. We will miss George 's jokes  , creative songs and guitar playing.  Rest in peace ,George.  We will miss your smiling face around The Villages!

George and a grateful sponsee  (Dudley in the center!) enjoying a round of golf in happier times.   George typified what a grateful member of AA showed be!   Always of service to his fellow man in and out of the fellowship.   Hoping he is enjoying a healthy and robust round of golf up on that pink cloud somewhere with Dudley by his side.
