She and her husband Greg moved to the The Villages in 2018 from Hudson, Ohio and had previously lived in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Debbie was an avid reader and led a very active lifestyle when she moved to The Villages. Debbie played water volleyball, pickleball, tennis, golf, card games, and was great at Friday Night Trivia. She was known to all that knew and loved her as being the “nicest person ever!” She also volunteered every Wednesday at Operation Homebound at North Lake Presbyterian Church in Lady Lake, Florida.
Debbie’s greatest moments were time spent with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Michael J. Rotunno and daughter, Darcy Lynne Hamlin.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Gregory P. Hamlin; children, Patrick Hamlin (Navah), Amanda Hamlin and Lindsay Perez (Domel); sisters, Kim Verhines (Jeff), Chris Breedveld (Brad) and Michelle Corrunker (Scott) along with four grandchildren, Theodore Hamlin, Liora Hamlin, Penelope Perez and Eleanor Perez.
