Anthony Joseph Adamo, age 70, of Summerfield, Florida, formerly of Hope Valley, Rhode Island passed away at his home surrounded by family on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Anthony was born January 4, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA.
Tony spent his career in the Casino and Gaming industry. He was one of the original employees of Resorts Atlantic City and also worked for Foxwoods in Connecticut and most recently, Twin Rivers in Rhode Island. He was incredibly talented in his role and a true professional. He established many wonderful relationships with his coworkers over the years and made lifelong friends.
A renaissance man, Tony had numerous talents, interest and hobbies. He was well traveled and had many adventures around the world with Marta. He was a certified scuba diver, pilot and captain. He enjoyed skiing, kayaking, was well read, a linguist, avid golfer and movie buff.
Above all, he valued the relationships in his life with his family and friends. He was incredibly humble and had no idea how inspirational he was to so many. In the words of many friends, he was a legend.
He is predeceased by his parents, Romeo and Julie Adamo and brother, Jimmy Adamo and canine companions, Booboo and Bailey.
Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Linda Simpkins (Brad), Debbie Migaleddi (John), and Mark Adamo (John), many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also survived by his former wife, Marta and her brother, Marek Bednarski, as well as many dear friends.
