DeGarmo, Wilmer “Bill”, 81, Army veteran and retired aircraft safety manager, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on July 4, 2015. Bill is preceded in death by parents Lawrence and Hazel, and son Kyle DeGarmo. He is survived by wife of 55 years, Barbara DeGarmo; daughters Kathy (Pat) Newman and Pam Beard; sister Barbara Jones; grandchildren Tyler, Matthew and Kaleigh DeGarmo, and Aaron and Nick Newman; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 8th from 6-8 P.M. and services will be held Thursday July 9th at 1:00 P.M. both at Resthaven Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or Victory in the Valley.
