Hoebener Jr, William H. (Bill) retired manager & business executive, 81 passed away May 15, 2020 at Presbyterian Manor in Newton, Kansas. Bill was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to William H. & Sara (Harinton) Hoebener, Sr. on May 14, 1939. Bill served 4 ½ years in the US Navy as an E4 aviation electronics and radar systems technician. After his military service, Bill called Wichita, KS his home. Married and raised a family, Bill worked for several local manufacturing companies in managerial and executive positions.
Bill is preceded in death by his father and mother, beloved wife Janet M. (Marlow) Hoebener and granddaughter, Rachael L. Hoebener.
William is survived by brothers, Karl Hoebener of Texas , Thomas Hoebener of Pennsylvania; children, Shawn Hoebener (Charliss), Tracy McKissick (Trent), Christian Hoebener (Shani), Alexander Hoebener (Nicolle); Grandchildren, Nicholas Hoebener, Nathaniel Hoebener, Noah Hoebener, Zac McKissick (Marah), Lexie Clouatre (Bradley), Lauren Sturgeon (Jeffrey), Brianne Hoebener, Preston Hoebener, Logan Hoebener and a host of family and close friends.
Rosary will be held May 21, 2020 at 9AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, following Mass at 10 AM following Graveside service will be at Resurrection Cemetery. In Lieu of follows contributions can be made to Newton Presbyterian Manor (Employee’s Christmas fund c/o Bill Hoebener) 1200 E. 7th St., Newton, KS 67114.
