William Wilson Bannister was born to Sam W. Bannister Jr. and Mary E. Kline at Havre de Grace, Maryland on September 8, 1943.
Bill served in the United States Army for 3 years in Korea, he was employed 30 years at Boeing Aircraft and 10 years with Ascension (Hope) Program for the elderly. Bill spent the last 28 years married to wife Constance Bannister. Very active in his church, faith-based cell groups and always a living witness to his Lord and Savior.
Preceded in death by: his parents, Sam and Mary Bannister; and his brother, John Bannister.
His surviving loved ones are: Wife: Conni, Brother: Sam Bannister (Dana), Sister in law: Barbara Bannister, Sons: Bill Bannister Jr (Julie), Eric Bannister (Holly), Cam Proesch (Christina). Grand Children: Josh Machutta (Beth), Lindsey Hadley (Chris), Angelina Davis (Austin), Jasmine Countee (Alex), Trilby Bannister, Olivia Bannister, Matt Hargett, Ethan Hargett, Conway Proesch, and Cordelia Proesch. Great Grandchildren: Jaxon & Ellie Machutta, Conner, Callie & Camden Hadley, Ben, Ailah, Jeremiah, Mikael and Rae Davis.
Visitation will be Friday, September 15th from 6 - 8 PM, with the Funeral Service, 1PM Saturday, September 16th, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. US-54 Highway, Wichita, Kansas, followed by graveside service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, in the Garden of Cross.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Bill's name with Good Shepherd Hospice.
