From 1953 to the time of her death, Wanda lived in the same home in Wichita, Kansas. She worked at Boeing until retirement and then continued to work in accounting until the age of 93. Wanda loved her family and her church family. She was a member of First Bible Baptist church, now named Morningstar Community Church, for 51 years and during that time served in various capacities. Wanda came to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior in 1970.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Raymond Beech and Lester Beech; sister, Esther Snodgrass; husband, James Edward Moore; and son, James Leslie Moore.
She is survived by sons, Larry Moore and Dustin Moore; daughter, Sherilyn Lamm; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A come and go visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 18th, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Wanda's Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 19th, at Morningstar Community Church, 11010 E. Kellogg Drive N., Wichita, Kansas 67207.
