She was an avid bowler, a devout St. Louis Cardinals fan, and enjoyed gardening, reading, working on the pool, and watching her granddaughter cheer.
She was preceded in death by her father Gene Brown, mother Wanda Sanders, son Scott Nienke, and sister Patrice States. Vickie is survived by her husband of 51 years, Steve, daughter Angela Reyes, granddaughter Makenzie Reyes, beloved dogs Smoky and Ginger, and brothers Michael and Junior Brown, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church, 1000 W 26th St S, Wichita, KS 67217, on Thursday, April 14 at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Bethany Lutheran Church.
