Sharon Marie Snook was born March 11, 1945 in Bath Township, Greene County, Ohio. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 17, 2023. Sharon was the youngest child of Lily (Harlan) Snook and Ray Snook. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Wayne Snook and sisters , Alice Fisher and Genevieve Terral. Sharon was never married or had children but cared for and mentored many people over the years. She became an important "mother figure" to Sonya and "grandmother figure" to Jayden, Lexy, and Lacey. She was a special Christian sister to John and Sherri, Vickie and Nancy and friends in Kansas, Mississippi and Louisiana. She held different jobs over the years: dry cleaning operator, cook and counselor at several half-way houses and gym boards representative in several states. She was an avid KU Jayhawks fan and had an owl collection she loved to display. She never passed up an opportunity to share her faith in God. She loved the Lord and put that love into action including 5 trips to Louisiana and Mississippi to help with cleanup/rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina hit 2005. She also led Bible Studies, even in her assisted living facility and had an exceptional creative writing ability, even wrote prayers. She is survived by her niece, Maxine Adsit (William)-Wichita, Nephew, Brent Fisher (Tonya)-Georgia, 2 great nieces, 4 great nephews, 3 great great nieces and 2 great great nephews, and other family and friends.
