Dear Judy,
I am sorry to hear that your mother passed away. It is hard to have no one aroud any more to treat you as their child. But you have been able to enjoy her for a long time. I offer you, and Bob my condolences.

Ruth was so happy everyday you could not help but to be happy around her because no matter what you did she would still smill and thank you when we where the ones who should of thanked her for everything she brought into our lives! You will be missed always and for ever my friend!

Ruth was my first resident at Sedgwick Healthcare and the reason I choose to work with older adults. She was a beautiful soul with an amazing smile. Ruth always knew how to make me laugh and it was a honor to know her and her family the last six years. I saw her last weekend and told her how much I loved her. I'll always keep the photo of her and I on my fridge and she will always remain in my heart. I love you Ruth.

My heart goes out to the Gates family. Ruth was such an amazing woman, and I am so lucky to have known her.  She will greatly be missed.

Judy, how fortunate you were to have so many years with a person who must have been a wonderful mother.  While we did not know her, judging from our knowledge of you, she must have been one heck of a lady.  While you and your family may hurt now at the time of her passing, such sorrow in death is the price we pay for the wonderful relationships we are permitted to know in life. I am sorry my schedule would not allow me to attend the funeral. Over the last 50+ years that I have known her, I have marveled at her attitude and grace in living with a disability.  She was so strong in living and positive in her dealings with everyone.  Although I have not been around her recently, I speak with people with disabilities every day and often use her life as an example of strength, and the ability to live a purposeful (and long!) life. She was a great friend to my late mother. I will honor her memory. Garry Howard

My sweet Ruth. Ruth sat at the table with my parents, Elmer and Dorothy Wiechman. My mom and Ruth would carry on a conversation that I wished I could have been apart of. Ruth came into my moms room the night she died and told her goodbye with her precious smile.  I enjoyed her flower garden and watching her work outside or watch her read and the candy she was always sharing.  I will miss her smile. Now her and my mom and dad can set again at the same table now with Jesus.

Bob I would like to express my condolences to you and your family in the loss of your mother.  I would like to be at the service but unable to because of set-up at the Central and West store. Wanted you to know I will be praying for you and yours. Remember shes gone to a better place and not forgotten. You always have your memories they are always with you. Love and God bless you all.

We have many fond memories of Ruth and Mike at RHCC.  You could always find Ruth and Mike at Wednesday Night Bingo, the Shrimp Peel and any other excuse for a party.  We are honored to have known them.
