Roberta M. Vinson

Vinson, Roberta M., 99, passed away August 4, 2016. She was the second of four children born to Robert and Nell Bolin in Nashville, KS. She was a member of Riverlawn Christian Church. She grew up in Kansas and met and married Paul Huddleston there and they had two children before he died in an auto accident. She was married to Robert Vinson for 50 years before he passed away in 2009. She also enjoyed her visits from Joyce, Jan and Barb. While Bob and Bobbie lived in Florida they had many friends and were very active with square dancing and taking care of their beautiful home, yard and flowers. She was preceded in death by her siblings and their spouses, two husbands, and her son, Benton Huddleston. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Dan) McCarthy; granddaughter, Cathy (Jeff) Haddock; grandsons, Dwayne Huddleston and Darryll Huddleston; three great grandsons as well as numerous nieces and nephews and one extraordinary cousin, Harvey Oberdick. She also leaves numerous friends in Florida and here in Wichita. As her health declined she was able to remain in her home due to the wonderful care she received from caregivers provided by Always There Senior Care. Graveside service will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016.
