Robert "Bob" D. Ross, age 83, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Robert was born April 26, 1939 in Wichita to Floyd and Melva (Parker) Ross. Bob retired from KGE after 30 years of service working as a substation foreman.
Preceded in death by his parents, daughters Linda Ross, Dinah Ross, twin daughters Laura Jane and Lori Jean and his brother Bill Ross.
Survived by his loving wife of 32 years Shirley, son Randy (Lois) Ross, step-children Duane (Jacque) Robbins and Denise (Bobby) Faught, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bob was a very avid gun collector, having collected for over 25 years. He had an exclusive collection. He loved and enjoyed reloading his own ammo and going to the firing range, but never did hunt. Bob also enjoyed reading and was a member of the NRA. Following retirement, Bob enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and the world with his wife Shirley.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am, Friday, August 12, 2022 at Lakeview Chapel, 12100 E. 13th St. N, Wichita, KS 67206.
