Robert E. Bolster, 91, passed away October 28, 2016. Robert was born to Clarence Allen and Barbara Ludwig Bolster in 1925 in Wichita, KS. Robert served in the Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater, in the Navy reserves, the U.S. Coast Guard, and retired as a fire fighter after 23 years as a Lieutenant. He loved woodworking and traveling with his wife, Geraldine, and was an active member of the Elks and Moose lodges. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, wife, Geraldine Covey Bolster, daughter, Nancy, grandson, Drew Williamson, 5 brothers, 1 sister and daughter-in-law, Dusty Bolster. Robert is survived by children, John (Linda) of Wichita, Doug of Montana, Roseann (Brad) of Wisconsin, David (Kim) of Colorado, Mike (Helen) of Colorado, Mary of Colorado, and Pat (Renee) of Colorado; 22 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. A rosary will be held Tuesday November 1 at 7:00 pm and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday November 2 at 11:00 am both at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Memorial donations may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
