Reyes, Raymond W., entered eternal life on Monday, August 22, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Sara Reyes; sisters Carolina Villegas, Helen Saez; brothers Albert Reyes, Richard Reyes. Two serviving sisters Betty Galvan & Lee Bingham. Raymond was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend with big arms. Born in Wichita, he graduated from North High. He served in Navy during WWII, where he was a aviation gunner and in training to be a Naval Bomber Pilot before WWII ended. After his years at University of Wichita, he was employed as an engineer with the Boeing Aircraft Co., retiring after 41 years. He was on the Board of Directors of several nonprofit organizations including: American GI Forum, SER, & LULAC. He is survived by his wife; Teresa M. Reyes, sons; Robert Reyes, William Reyes (Carol), daughters; Irene Goetz (Don), Yvonne Yingst (Jim), 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, August 26th, 6-8 PM at Resthaven Mortuary. Service will be Saturday, August 27th at 10:00 AM at Asension Lutheran Church.
