TORRES, Patricia Rae, 74, retired St Francis (Via Christi) employee and Cessna upholsterer passed away November 16, 2013. She was born June 19, 1939 in Laurium Michigan, the daughter of Merrelle and Dagmar (Parikka) Trudell, who preceded her in death. She was married 53 years to John C. Torres before his death in 2010. Survivors include; sons Dr. John M. (Cathy) of Wichita, Christopher M. (Kathy) of Olathe KS, Felipe M. (Debbie) of Wichita, Bruce M. (Tina) of Rio Rancho, NM; daughter Denise R. (Mark) Handy of Wichita; sister Diane Young of Wichita Falls, TX; grandchildren Carla Brannon (Chris), Zyanya Torres, Jenna White (Luke), Melanie Vargas ( Jose), Felipe Torres, II (Krista), Michael Torres (Heather), Jonathan Torres, Bruce Torres; and four great-grandchildren. Rosary is 7 P.M. Tuesday at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral Mass 10 A.M. Wednesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Memorial contributions can be made to Harry Hynes Hospice.
