Joining the Army National Guard, Nathan served 3 tours of duty during the Vietnam War where he was honorably discharged each time and received a purple heart for his bravery. After serving in the military, he went on to work at St. Francis then for the Board of Education, at USD 261, where he retired after 17 years.
He will be greatly missed by his family, coworkers, and school superintendents that he worked beside throughout the years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Linda Morgan, and survived by his only child: Stevie Morgan; grandsons: Stevie Miller and Nathan Everett Morgan II, and granddaughter, Deseria Morgan.
Nathan and his wife of 50 years, Linda, will be laid to rest in a private graveside service to be held at a later date.
