Michael married the love of his life Anita on May 20, 1972, together they shared 50 years. Michael retired from Boeing/Spirit after working for over 20 plus years.
Michael was a sports fanatic (KC Chiefs, KC Royals, and WSU). He loved to fish and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Mary Thomas (Raleigh A. May), two sisters Karen Luff and Denise Bradley.
Survivors include wife Anita Thomas; two daughters Tracy Thomas and Tara (Shawn) Achey; one brother Jon (Kristen) Thomas and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at GracePoint Church, 9035 W. Central, Wichita, Kansas on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 5pm, with a dinner following the service. The family has asked that you dress casually and wear your favorite sports attire, KC Chiefs, WSU, KC Royals, etc.
