Melinda F. Taylor

Melinda Taylor, age 59, of Wichita, KS passed away in the comfort of her own home on November 2, 2022. Melinda was born in Wichita on March 16, 1963 and was adopted by her loving parents shortly after.

Melinda had such a passion working in the legal field her entire career. She enjoyed watching football all weekend long and enjoyed bowling immensely as a young woman.

She is preceded in death by both parents John And May Kirkpatrick.

She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Gene Taylor and her only sibling Bryan Kirkpatrick. She is also survived by her children and their spouses, Kasey Huffman, Paige & Kevin DeWitt, Jeremy Taylor, and Rachael & Sydney Sorensen. As well as her grandchildren, Haven DeWitt, Kedryn Taylor, Brooklyn Huffman, and Amiliah Taylor.

A Memorial service will be held Friday, November 11, 2022 at 10:00 am at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas.
