Mary Ellen Wilson passed away on January 28th, 2024. She was born in Southwest City, Missouri on January 11th, 1936 and attended Grove High School. There she met her husband of 47 years, Bobby A. Wilson. The family moved to Wichita in 1956 and Mary began work as a bookkeeper for various businesses and continued until her retirement in 1994. She was active in her church and loved her family deeply.
She was preceded in death by parents Lonnie and Thelma Frye; husband Bob Wilson (2002); sisters Pearly Frye, Marie Reagan, and Beverly Peluso; and brother Lee Frye.
She is survived by brother Joseph Frye; sons Michael (Anne) and Christopher (Kristin) Wilson; as well as grandchildren Brendon, Erin, Grace, and Maxwell Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Prairie Hills Southern Baptist Church outreach.
