Mary Geneva Minter, age 102, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022. She was born June 22, 1920 to Brice and Urilla Watkins in Gilbert, Arkansas. Mary was the oldest of nine children which included 5 girls and 4 boys.
She graduated from North High School in 1940 then went on to marry the love of her life Frank Minter. She raised 4 kids then went on to manage Peter Pan Ice Cream Store where she retired in 1963.
She is survived by Darrell Minter, Diana McQueary, Tom Minter, numerous grandkids, great-grandkids, and great-great grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Minter and son, Roger Minter
A Visitation will be held at Resthaven Mortuary 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita, KS, 67209, Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 5-7pm with family present. A funeral service is scheduled Friday, November 18, 2022 3:00pm at Resthaven Mortuary with a graveside service to follow.
